Founding shareholder of Ciancio Ciancio Brown, P.C. and head of the firm’s Family Law Group, Cynthia Ciancio was honored to host the recent Advanced Family Law Conference.
This year’s virtual seminars presented by the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML) provided continuing legal education (CLE) credits to the Colorado family law attorneys in attendance. The Annual Advanced Family Law Conference provided networking opportunities and discussions about current disputes families face.
Unique legal considerations related to the global health crisis, such as presenting cases and providing representation by teleconference, were addressed during the December 4 seminars. Additional discussion topics included:
- Ethical considerations in representation
- Alternative dispute resolution
- Complex financial cases
- Bankruptcy related to domestic relationships
- Understanding psychological reports
Carrie Eckstein, partner at Ciancio Ciancio Brown, P.C., also collaborated on the presentation about contemporary challenges surrounding privacy privileges in client/therapist relationships.
Our firm’s foundation is a commitment to excellence. Continuing education opportunities, such as this conference, equip our attorneys to provide sound counsel to help clients reach their goals.
