John Vaughan, a senior attorney with the Business and Real Estate team, has been accepted into the Boulder Leadership Fellows program of the Community Foundation of Boulder.

Jamie Rutten, an Associate on the Family Law team, has been named the Family Law section chair for the Adams County Bar Association.

Special Counsel Awarded Industry Distinction
Jane Paddison, Special Counsel and leader of the Estate Planning team at DCG, has been awarded the distinction of Preeminent Woman Lawyer by Martindale Hubbell, the nation's leading legal ratings service.

DCG Associates take Leadership Roles with MVL
Loren Brown, an associate with DCG's Litigation team, was elected to the position of Vice Chair for the Metro Volunteer Lawyers Board of Governors.
Loren was also elected to the position of Chair of the Recruitment committee for MVL. This is the committee which is responsible for coordinating the marketing efforts of MVL, increasing their brand recognition as well as recruiting attorneys to take on pro bono cases through MVL.
Katie Laughlin, an associate with DCG's Family Law team, was elected to the position of Chair of the Education committee for MVL. This committee is charged with the important task this next term of helping to change the student practice act, which determines whether law students can take pro bono legal cases. This will require a great deal of work and coordination between the Office of Attorney Regulation, the Supreme Court as well as the MVL board.

Shareholder wins Law Week Colorado distinction
Cynthia Ciancio, shareholder of the firm and leader of the Family Law practice, was recently named a Top Women Lawyers finalist by Law Week Colorado

New Attorney Joins DCG
Michael A. Sandstrum has joined the firm as Special Counsel for the Litigation Team. Michael brings tremendous experience and background in Civil and Commercial LItigation matters, having served as Special Counsel for Fleishman & Shapiro, P.C., for its business and litigation department. Prior to that, he was one of the original members and a managing partner for Bremer Whyte, Brown & O’Meara, LLP, a California firm, where he successfully handled numerous multi-million dollar cases.

Senior Associate named to Rangeview Library Board
Kyle Kreischer, associate attorney with the law firm of Donelson Ciancio and Goodwin, P.C., was recently appointed to the Rangeview Library Friends Foundation Board.

Family Law Team nominated for Family Tree
Community Award
